People in my county already have it, and more people in Mexico have already died…this is scary.
I’m not afraid to die at all, but it’s just really freaky…

Not really scared at all. At this time last year, everyone was going on about Bird Flu. And it was the same fears. So wander what the big thing will be next year? Cow Flu?
No, when I start seeing dead people lying in the street, then I’ll start to worry.
I don’t fear death, I know where I am going.
Six people in my province have it, all within the Metro Vancouver area, which is where I live. Nah, I’m not scared…Slightly worried sometimes, but not really scared or anything…
*EDIT* Like Nolan said, most of the cases are mild…Out of the six people here in British Columbia, not one has their life in danger…

It is scary, but I know I’m healthy and protected.
And the way I look at it, if I can survive losing my beloved event horse and keep my heart beating four months after his death, I can survive anything.
Only if you’re in Mexico. These kinds of things spring up every few years and they rarely become serious.
um not really "scared"…..but cautious because i have to take new york trains in the morning…i just make sure to wash my after i get off them….but its not something that i let take ovedr my life..its like any other virus….people die from the regular flu too
A little. Two schools in my county have been shut down for almost a week over this. I’m not becoming paranoid though, like other people in my school are. I honestly think the nation is over-exaggerating this whole H1N1 thing anyways.
I’ll worry when people start dying around me. All the cases outside of mexico are relatively mild. We don’t worry about the regular flu, so why worry about this one.
Not really 37,000 ppl a yr die from the regular flu the only reason this is so scary is b/c its a diff type of flu and the news is making it such a big deal….and I heard your chances of dying form this flu is the same chances of being struck form lightening. The only person I am scared for will be my newborn in May b/c babies and elderly are more susceptible to catching this virus and actually dying from it.
Not really. I’m in NYC right now and the school I’ve exchanged to is right next to a school that’s closed because of it. The only thing kids are doing is making jokes about the name and hoping they get school off. [:
I’m not too concerned. My foster mom is a nurse and she says she brings so much bacteria and virus into our lives from the hospital that we’re either going to die tomorrow or be immune to everything. I should be more sensible to these things. I have the flu and been joking about dying and giving it to everyone but yeah, I get why its not funny.
No it’s silly. It was the same with bird flu, or whatever it was. hardly anyone died from that. it is just something to talk about in the news. they have vaccinations for it also
I’m not really all that worried. I mean I understand it’s killing people, but so does the regular flu we get shots for every year and just about almost every sickness we can get. I don’t even think it’s gotten to where I live yet. I don’t think it’s as awful as people are making it out to be. I am a little worried, but I get worried about strep throat so lol. I’m sure it’s ok, just keep your hands clean and don’t go randomly sticking your fingers in your mouth. Carry hand sanditizer.

And I wash my hands and am very hygenic
People are just blowing this out of proportion…and using every excuse to think they have it

it’s just like the normal flu.
everyone needs to chill about this, only a handful of people in america have gotten it for sure.
just relax, the more you stress about it the more likely you’ll get it. (scientifically proven!)
nope. the vaccines companys will make millions off people who over react.
I probably would be cautious if someone around me caught it.
Nope. If I’m going to die I might as well die care free. =D
