I normally try not to worry too much about things like this, but when they are close to home it is a bit unsettling. I live in the southwest US. Do you think they might ban travel across the border?

At the moment I think people are overreacting due to media propoganda. They say over 60 people have died, which IS bad, but they don’t say who died? I think people are more at risk of dying if they’re below the age of 5, over the age of 50, or ill already. Also, Mexico’s healthcare isn’t as good as in America, England, Canada etc.
Possibly. I’m scared too. This could be the start of another pandemic like the 1918-19 Influenza.
This whole thing is unsettling.
It is very real and very close to home. I wasn’t *too* concerned until the suspected case in New York at the school with 75 kids sick with flu symptoms.
I mean I know they won’t have test results for a few days, but what else would it be? It would be a bit more than a coincidence to have a potential outbreak and then that many kids get the human flu? I think not.
I will be buying non perishable food items at the store and masks.
Better safe than sorry right? If nothing becomes of this..oh well, I ‘ll have food and won’t need to travel to the store haha

The H5N1 Bird Flu has been changing with fears of breaking into a pandemic, and some people look at this as a possible diversion from the real pandemic, which the swine H1N1 virus could be.
